We would like to congratulate all of our new mentees for Spring '12. Thank you to everyone who applied and please feel free to attend all FPN events. Our goal is to help all UCSD students with an interest in finance.

You are invited to attend FPN's Spring Quarter Social at Homeplate (next to Rimac) this Thursday, May 3 from 5pm-7pm. This event will provide existing members the chance to network with current and new members/students as well as discover new opportunities available through FPN. Additionally, it's a great chance to speak to graduating FPN seniors as they might be entering full time jobs in industries of your interest.

Conference speakers will be invited to network with students/faculty at an exclusive cocktail reception the night before the conference. The female acapella group UCSD DOTs will be performing. Armin Afsahi, Assistant Vice chancellor of Alumni Affairs, will be making welcoming remarks. Featured speaker: Maureen Farrell, columnist formerly with Forbes Magazine and now at CNNMoney.

We are having our first event of the quarter next Tuesday, February 7th (Price Center ERC Room). This will be our kickoff event and will be a great start to a new year! Dinner and drinks will all be provided.
